Question ASP Pulley?

I was removing my front sway today an noticed a problem on my ASP pulley. There is a round plate on the front of the pulley that has "Auto Specialties Performance" etched on it. It is held in place by three welds to the pulley. Well, I noticed that it is coming apart from the pulley itself. It has worked its way loose from one of the welds and is falling off. So it seems. I am afraid that it is going to fall off while I am driving and cause some serious damage. Should I take the plate off before it is too late? Or should I weld it back in place? Is it there for a reason? Please let me know what you guys think before it is too late. Asap!

Thanks
Ever

Here is a pic of the pulley-------->It might be held on by welds on 4 spots instead of 3, not totally sure.

I would contact ASP and see about getting a replacement. I would not weld it on myself, it could cause it to become unbalanced, and cause more damage than good.

No, it's probably there for a reason, especially if it's welded in.

Definately tell them of the problem, they really need to know about any potential problems and get a replacement!

I guess I'll install the stock pulley and see if ASP will give me a new one.
