Default Best spark plugs

I just put a whole slew of mods on my car, and with almost 60,000 on the clock, I think its about time for some new spark plugs. Which ones are the best to get? I know I'll get lots of different opinions, but I just need a place to start from.

Does it matter if they are "v-power" or not? I found them for $1.68 this week at the local outlet of a national chain.

Waste time? What doing a plug change yearly or about every 20K miles.

If you don't want to change plugs every year the NGK coppers are not for you. You won't get another 60K out of those....not even close.
