Question Is this a Crank PS or Oil Level Sending Unit????

I'm confused. I was changing my starter a few weeks ago and I broke off the sensor that is located right below the starter sticking out of the oil pan. It is a hexagon shaped one that is on the drivers side. I posted before and someone told me it was the Oil Level Sending unit I needed to replace but when I went to the dealership they tried to tell me it was the Crank Position Sensor. The sensor has two prongs or wires going into it.
So which one is it?????
Anyone know where I can get a part number???
thanks

If its a fat sensor sticking out of the oil pan..its the oil level sensor...

If its the smaller sensor sticking out of the block (actually above the starter) its the Crank sensor.

Cool, it's the one sticking out of the oil pan definately. Thanks man.
Since the sensor is broken does this affect the performance of my car in any way shape or form? Or does it just hurt me since my oil gauge is screwed up and it won't give an accurate reading?
thanks again
