installed a Borla XR-1....best mod ever! i had a dynomax 12' bullet in the i-pipe...as well at lt's/ory...the deep sound that i had loved faded away and turned into a raspy tone. i took advice from WildBill and purchased an XR-1...I installed it this morning and holy hell it sounds NICE!
When I first cranked her on, I was kinda dissapointed because my car sounded somewhat stock on the inside...i took her for a test drive...didnt sound louder than my dynomouth...then I let my bro drive it, and DAMN it sounds just like my Dynomouth but 5x louder, with no rasp and no drone AT ALL...and deep as hell...
I HIGHLY urge anyone with the lm/dm setup on lts/ory to switch out the bullet and put one of these in...car will sound 100X better and more refined.
I still cant believe how quiet it is on the inside.

I hate our Pacesetter LT's/ORY with the SLP LM, so we changed the resonator out for a dynomax bullet. That didn't help at all. Mine sounds like a raspy/popping piece of crap during acceleration. Idle and full throttle is the only time it sounds good. So thanks for the info and I'll post back the results. Unless someone has another way??? Which Borla XR-1 ???
