Alternator not charging

Alternator not charging I have replaced the alternator, and it still is not charging. Is there any way to get the alternator to charge without using the PCM?? Like the old style that does not run through the computer. It is a 1999 LS1. Any help would be great!!

Have you checked for power at the output lug on the rear of the alternator?
Possible your new alt. is no good?

My 98 still needs the PCM to get the alternator to work. Don't ask me how I know.
