Still not happy!!
The first time I messed with the exhaust I did the Dynomouth. That sounded great and was the cheapest I found. Well I just got Kooks and ORY. I hated the way the car sounded when I picked it up. I thought it sounded like 20 angry Hondas. I went straight to a muffler shop down the street and had them put a magnaflow back in the spot where the stock muffler was.
I am still not happy with the way it sounds. I want a deeper tone. Should I take out the Dynomax bullit, replace it with a borla, or just go with true duals and some 4x9s, and if I do that do I need Cats to quiet down the rasp.
Help!!!!! I'm lost.

dude, trust me, it will. i just had a dynomouth exhaust with LTs ORY...i put hte XR-1 on today and my car sounded stockish on the inside, but on the outside, it sounded like the DM but 5x louder and the rasp is non-existent....it has a nice, deep muscle car sound...
what still has me amazed is how quiet the car sounds on the inside...seems like i dont even have an headers w/ory

A y-pipe with no cats will rasp.
I have LTs through a catted Y and a Corsa catback and it is a deep but subdued rumble until you get on it when it sounds VERY nice.
