Default OEM SLP options same as you can buy direct?

I see a lot of exhaust components for sale that are
from cars with SLP options from the factory when
they bought the car. Are these components identical
to the "catback" systems you can buy from some
of our sponsors?

When posting your answer please post "how" you
know they are the same or different.

I'm asking because it seems that a new catback
Dual/Dual from SLP is around 400. However on here
some people are selling them for under 200. That
just seems like such a great price IF they are identical.

Thanks.

The parts are the same but the prices aren't. For example, I paid $999 for the chrome wheel option, when on SLP's website they sell them for $899 (I found this out 1 month after I bought my car when I recieved an SLP catalog). So lets break this down: I paid an extra $999 for the chrome wheel option when I could have saved $100 and bought them for $899 online. On top of that, they kept my stock silver 10 spoke wheels. This really pisses me off. I'm sure this has been talked about before, so sorry for beating a dead horse. Oh, sorry for heisting your thread too.

The only advantage to having the exhaust, wheels, etc from SLP as a second sticker option is that you get a second build order sheet and an additional sticker on the inside of your door listing your SLP options.
