Default Reasonable cost for Cutout???

Was wondering what is a reasonable price to pay to have a cutout installed. Right now I have flowmaster cat back. After doing some research and seeing most everyone's opinion on "Slowmaster" I've decided to do a cutout to gain back some more flow. I would like it installed right after the i-pipe comes down over the axle. WHAT IS A FAIR PRICE.

There is an exhaust shop here that installs their own fabbed cut outs. I had one installed in the exact location you are talking about for $30 total cost parts and labor.

I agree 30 dollars is what I paid, I had mine on the I pipe though before the bend. It shouldn't be much tougher to have it put where you want it.

That really pisses me off. These guys around here are asking 150$ to 200$. I went to Midas and they didn't even know what a cutout was.

Stay away from name brand exhaust shops. Around here there are tons of small privately owned shops. If the exhaust guys are older, they might not know what cut outs are. Years ago, we called them dumps and only the guys that couldn't afford headers ran them.

I'm in Wi there are a ton of 4x4 shops maybe I'll give one of them a try.
