I'm partial to the Kooks with their catted y, probably because it's the setup I chose to go with. Everything fit perfectly when I did the install and they have caused me no problems so far. I've heard about issues concerning the fitment of the QTP y-pipe, whereas I have not heard anything negative about the Kooks y.

I like my Stainless Works. Made excellent power on my car plus the 2.5" Y pipe has great ground clearance.

ok qith QTP headers...form peoples experience....is it better to get the High velocity Merge collector for the primary tubes?....or jsut the norma collector....is the gain for the extra what 3-400 bucks worth it?

and also if it isnt worth it 3-400 bucks...between the Kooks and QTP base model headers....whats it come down to the cats and Y-pipe...if so which flows better?

QTPs Y pipe should flow better due to the merge collector.

Personally, I LOVE my PPC Headers. (sponsor here) They are ceramic coated, not stainless, but Gordon @ PPC gives them a nice warranty, and he is killer for service after the sale. I gained 20rwhp when I installed my Random Tech Cats & Y-pipe and Corsa cat-back, and then got 17 more when I installed the PPCs! They are 1 year old & I have had 0 problems. No leaks, only some surface rust where the stupid AC water drains onto them. But ALL headers have that issue. And they look, fit & sound friggin great!!!

Unless your going for an "all-out" set up, I wouldn't spring for the HVCs. But if you are looking to untap every single pony out of your car then they may be worth it to you. Just kind of depends on your application.
