Alright guys im looking to do a new exhaust system for my 99 SS. Here is what i am looking at doin.
Pacesetter Longtubes, No Cats, into an ORY, QTP Cutout and then either back into my borla catback, or no muffler and run like a straight pipe or something. Just curious what do guys think about this set up?

Default New Exhaust

Just to let you know -- there is another cutout available of a little different design-- check out the Street Pro 3' Jet Hot Street / Strip --- it may (or may not) give you some other options --

If you're thinking of going with no muffler, the cutout would be a waste of cash.

As for what I think, I think the NO MUFFLER would just be loud and sound like ***..

Just go ORY and Borla. It should be loud enough with an open plate.

What would be the point of having a cut-out with no muffler? IMO, an ORY/Borla sounds like *** and is raspier than ****. Leave the stock exhaust and get a cut-out. Check out the street-pro.

If you already have the borla keep it. Don't bother with a cut out. The open plate is pretty much the same.

well good luck in buying just a gmmg muffler. closest you'll get(unless you got mad hookups) is the sweet chambered mufflers. slightly different, still sounds badass. i'd definitely go with those if thats the kind of sound you're looking for.
