Default true duels ?

i am planning on running edelbrock victor headers strait to duel bullet muffs any advantage of running x pipe ?

um.....we here at LS1Tech.com like to refer to it as the Search button. its our friend. use it frequently. it will share its knowledge whenever asked, and usually will give you more answers then you will know what to do with.

but yea....an x pipe will give you more horses over a y-pipe, and it will generally sound better, depending on the setup.

yeah......i think he was wondering about basically "straight duels" or no crossover versus any crossover pipe.....the general concensus seams so be that a h pipe sounds better but a x pipe flows better.....and that you sould do one or the other so the exhaust is in sync(scavanges, whatever).......i'm just spitting out stuff i read....if you look hard enough you'll find stuff on where exactly to put the crossover pipe, how big it should be compared to the exhaust dia., ect.....

with no cross over you loose some scavaging effect.
