Fact Or Fiction I have heard some people say that when new headers are installed you should heat treat them by "normal"(slow) driving then let them cool then heat them up again.....and let them cool and then you can give her hell.

you "heat treat" new valve springs by warming them up to normal operating temps(idle for ~ 20mins), then let them cool completely(6-12 hours, basically overnight), then you warm them back up to operating temps again, and you can romp on them.
with headers, all you gotta do is install them. and as you do with pretty much anything you install on your car, after a few miles of driving, re-check the torque on the bolts. other then that, you're good to go.
