Hey Damian. If the Triflow flows so bad, why did they not gain horsepower or torque when the removed they Triflow muffler and tail-pipes?

The beauty of this setup is that my car is not that much louder than stock(which I think is pretty healthy sounding) and I picked up two spare complete WS6 exhausts for free off guys replacing them.
Do you need a third?

Thumbs up

Well being overly loud alerts many people including the local police to you, so I'd probably consider a different cat-back honestly.

That loudmouth is nothing but a resonator from what I read about it.

A Magnaflow is a nice sounding setup like I have.

Mine is 25rwhp and 40rwtq between the cutout open and the stock WS6 exhaust. Holds true at the track as well - ran it with it capped up just to see and it was 2 tenths/2 mph slower.

Since I don't race on the street, I don't care - I like it quiet so it doesn't get the wrong attention.

The WS6 catback with a cutout would work, but expect to lose a minimum of 10-12 rwhp over what you've got now through the muffler....
That's great and all......so you dynoed on the same exact day and swapped the catback and then re-dynoed under the exact same conditions?

I'm just wondering......my car ran faster with the stock catback than it did with the Corsa.....and that is a straight through muffler. Not to mention NUMEROUS others which have gained JACK from swapping catbacks.

And like was said above people are losing less than 10rwhp on a 400RWHP car with that catback vs a wide-open cutout.
Maybe you should try dyno testing again. Personally I'll stick with my statement of 5-10rwhp loss since that seems to be the COMMON outcome.

Very stealthy! It sounds only slightly louder than a stock WS6 (because of LT's & no cats) only mine sounds like a plug wire is off Just a little lopey!

Mine still goes 11.70's capped up, and surprises a lot of people because it is so quiet. If I did decide to bust someone on the street, they'd never hear it coming. Sleeper ...well, except for the rollbar and ET Streets/skinnies.

If you race only on the track, it is the inexpensive way to go that keeps the cops off your back! Takes 1 minute to reach under and open the cutout at the track.

BTW - my dyno pulls where I picked up 25 rwhp and 40 rwtq with the cutout open were consecutive pulls, so I know it was a real difference. Also, my passes at the track were consecutive as well, so no weather variation was involved.

It could just be that my combination likes a free flowing exhaust (6.0L with a big cam) compared to others that have found little difference, but I found my car picked up a tenth with the cutout open when I had a 346 (same LT's and WS6 catback) on consecutive passes.
