Default Pacesetters installed!

We got started about 10pm Sat nite, finished about 7am. We had the the coil packs, and the air tubes along with stock manifolds unbolted within 2 hours. We goofed off alot (riding this electric gokart that does 55mph+). It went pretty well.

The pacesetter ORY didnt fit worth a crap. So im going to have to weld the Y to my Borla. Also, this weekend I already hit my header and knocked the y off, so Im going to have to weld the headers to the Y as well (i really didnt want to weld my whole exhaust but I guess I dont have much choice). Big thanks to Distortion_69 and his little brother who practically did the entire install. I noticed a huge performance difference!

Don't weld the headers to the Y! What if you need drop the tranny or swap the torque arm or something? Then you are SOL

Is your car lowered? Did you run over a bolder? Did you hit a speed bump? Pacesetters usually tuck pretty good, even on a lowered car. You had to have ran over a dog or something... or an Emu

If you want a leak free seal and not use clamps at the y-pipe to header connection, you can have an exhaust shop weld flanges. That's what I did with my pacesetters and duals. Now I can take my whole exhaust off with 8 bolts. I don't like the idea of clamps with the exhaust system. My opinion.

This is what I plan on having done in a few weeks, after I get paid again.
