header install-now smoke I just got done installing brand new pacesetter headers on my car and I have commin from under the hood? Is this normal until something burns off or do I have many leaks. Smoke comes from both sides of the motor.

Not sure on that... I had smoke after I installed my headers as well, scared the crap out of me. Turned out to be oil from removing the diverter plate on the driver's side.
It is normal to have some smoke, yes....finger oil, etc burns off of the headers the first time they are heated up and also things like oil that got onto them really smoke.

I have seen installation instructions that tell you about that. It is perfectly normal...usually. It is junk burning off the headers. Fluid from your vehicle, oils from your hands, etc. It should stop. If it doesn't after a drive then you should worry.

YEah, I would say a little smoke is normal. I started my car after my Pacesetter install yesterday for the first time and there was quite a bit of smoke at first which had me worried. I was afraid a plug wire was up against one of the tubes or something. It stopped after a few minutes. There was also quite a weird burning smell (from the coating I presume) that disapated after a few warm-ups/cool downs.

i myself could never trust cheap, came with the headers paper gaskets in an application that gets so F-ing hot when the stockers (used or new) are so good to begin with.
