port your borla You can grind off a flow restricting section in the first merge of your borla kit. Borla welded two pipes right there and left almost 1-1/2 inches of metal restricting the flow to the passenger side outlet. I took a rotary tool and a grinding stone to it and shaved it to about 1/4 of an inch and it looks so much better. It looks like a split in the exhaust vs. a small hole b/f it hits the muffler. I have not heard it yet but I know it will sound alot deeper from the passenger side....
can u get a pic of this, i have the borla too and this sounds intresting, i would like a pic because in college now and cant go out to parking lot and pull the section off to look myself...thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to get a pic...

it is the y section... the bend which one end bolts to the passenger side outlet, where you can change your restrictor plate. As soon as you look at the peice off the vehicle you will see how restrictive it is.
