bad to mix PSF?

bad to mix PSF? I pulled my radiator out the other day putting my cam in, and I unpluged the power steering cooler lines not thinking at the time, think they were just coolant lines...well the next day I find a nice puddle, realize what I've done, pull the power steering resivor fill lid off to see the damage, and that just ended up dumping even more out of the hoses...
I have a bottle of Red Line Power Steering Fluid, can I just fill up the resivor, or do I need to bleed out the lines first?

I believe the extra space in the power steering reservior should allow a place for the air to escape.
As far as mixing the fluid. I'd go with whatever Red Line recommends.
