LS1's are very capable of being loud and sounding good/mean at the same time, and LT's/ORY/LM is just the loud part. Its all subjective and a matter of your own opinion, so if you like it then stick with it. But the fact is 99% of people hate your set-up because of its lack of true muscle sound and rasp. The guy wanted an opinion and I gave him mine, which most people share. You gave him yours, which very few people share. Let him decide, there is no need to get all defensive.
exactly!

Well I just had my SLP LM installed yesterday...OMG its GREAT! I have an otherwise completely stock exhaust. If I were to get LT's and an ORY I would probably get a Borla muffler as well, because its already pretty freakin loud.

I went loudmouth and wouldn't change it for anything. I hate the sound of the other cat backs bar the GMMG, but that was too rich for my blood

I like it because its light, my car is not a daily driver any more. But on my LT1 it sounds great and when I daily drove the car it was still ok, not annoying at all. If you dont have cats and LTs, it may get a little to loud to be on a daily driver. I hear good things about the hooker system and SLP dual dual sytem, look at those as well if you want some thing quieter.

i currently have the dual Loudmouth with slp LT's, ORY, and no cats....i just replaced the resonator with a 16 1/2 bullet...i love it...and so does everyone else who hears it....WOT is bad ***!...it does rasp a little when changing gears (slowly)...it doesn't bother me....I have never heard one with out the bullet muffler...but im sure it would be alot raspier....I love my LM...Thats just my .02$ worth...every one has there own ears and can choose to like whatever they want...ls1sounds.com doesnt do any of the exhausts justice...all of them sound way different in real life...best thing is just listen to other LS1's....then decide....Have fun choosing...

Its definately loud but it lacks sound quality especially with an ORY. My friend took his off for a borla.
