Battery cable off after catback install?

Battery cable off after catback install? I just had my hooker catback put on my 2001 Trans AM, its awesome. However the car feels like it is still adjusting to the new mod. I did not disconnect the battery after this install to reset the PCM. Do I need to?

Feels like its adjusting? Are you measuring with your butt dyno/buttometer? I think its a mental thing.

I don't know if its adjusting. I've had it on for about 200 miles and never unhooked the battery cable. The butt-o-meter is hard to say, feels like it pulls more up top, thats about it besides the change in exhaust note. Just wondering if i was supposed to do this or not. No codes or ses light set off since install.
