Spark Plug wire install problems
Spark Plug wire install problems Hey everyone I have got a problem I just installed some msd wires and checked to make sure every plug was on, put back on the air tubes and then started the engine. Now the engine is misfiring bad. Please help.
First you're going to have to find out what cylinder is misfiring. If you have a scanner or know somebody with one this will make things a lot easier to narrow it down. I would double check that every plug wire is connected properly and double check every spark plug to make sure it isn't damaged in any way. Hopefully this will help you resolve the misfire.

I just put a set of the same wires on my car. You may have a wire that didn't click all the way on. I found it easier to plug the wire on the plug first (wiggle it on) and then clip it on the coil pack (listen for it to click on)
Just like everyone else has said. The very first thing you need to do is go back out and recheck all of you work. I almost certain that you either have a loose plug or a loose plug wire.
Check the rear passeger side plug and wire first.
