Default Exhaust manifold gasket?

I am in the middle of installing some Jet-Hot headers on my car, when I realized the gaskets in the kit are paper. I will be getting some metal ones tomorrow since my old ones look a little ragged out. The question I have do you use any kind of RTV silicone between the metal gaskets and the headers? If you do, do you put the gasket with the RTV on the block or the headers first?
This is my first header install and I would like to thank all that have taken pics and have written write ups for so many different things. JRP you are the man with all your sticky's on this site. Thank you

no sealant is required for either paper or metal gaskets. just drop in, tq header bolts in the right sequence, and your good to go

no problem, i wrote the stickies for people like you
