Default How much rwhp from an intake swap?

I have a 408, 230/230, ported heads, and 10.5 compression. I currently have a stock truck intake and a mildly ported TB.
It will cost me around 1700 to go with a 90mm LSX and TB, with the F-body waterpump, fuel rails, and a new style idler. It will cost around 700 to port my TB and go with a LS6, with all other parts included. If is was your is the extra money worth the LSX?
What would be the hp difference between the two? I am about to put alittle more juice on it, so if the power difference is small. I will just go with the LS6.
Thanks alot.

why is the waterpump, fuel rails, and new idler involved? maybe i'm missing something. of course i've not ever seen an ls1 in a truck either.....

with the bigger cubes, and the spray, yes the power difference with the lsx will be bigger then you'd like to think over the ls6. you're just going to squeeze out more horses period, which if thats what you're looking for, its going to be worth the extra money. i don't know why its going to cost you that much, b/c mti is selling the FAST setup for 1245 all october. i think thats shipped too.

The TB on the truck intake is higher than the LS1 intake. The truck water pump, idler pulley, and fuel rails are all designed around the taller intake. I also have to buy new hard lines for my fogger. I also have a stock size MAF, I haven't seen a bigger aftermarket one.
Would I see a 10rwhp difference between the two intakes?
Thanks for the replies.

I would go with an LS6 intake. The LSX has some major quality issues and is not worth the money. After buying my LSX I regret not buying the LS6.
