AC vent issue.....

AC vent issue..... OK the AC will blow cold but will intermitently start blowing through the floor vents only, but the funny thing is it is happenning to my wife's 99 with 38,000 miles and my car that has 95,000 miles. I did a search and checked all of the vacuum lines on both cars and all are connected and not cracked.
Could it be the valve that the 3 lines connect to near the PCM or could it be something physically screwing with the blend door?
I can see something like this happening to one car but 2 at the same time. This is some twilight zone **** going on here.

Bud of mine had a blend door symptom and was able to remove the dash and realign the flips. It would be foolish to continue to remove parts as it should be just a small door. I believe it was four or three sets of points thats it. Hope this helps...
