Ram air question

I have an airlid and should be getting a smooth bellow this week for my car (00 Fireturd) but am curious about the ram air sheet metal scoop that I see advertised. Are these worth $125.00 and if so have you good folks had any luck with either the ET or MPH gains. Thank you in advance. Cheers !!!

you're runnin a formula or just v6? if its a formula get SSRA or FTRA, I love my SSRA, the car pulls much more than it did before i had it.

It is a Formula (LS-1). Thanks for the tips. Now I just have to find a vendor. SLP maybe? Thanks.

you can get SSRA and FTRA from http://www.lmpperformance.com I believe the scoop on SSRA goes lower, I know the creator of SSRA posts on here as well(infact i met him in person

)

SLP will only have their own (called the SLP Cold Air Intake I assume), I'd recommend the FTRA or the SSRA over that one though.
You can also just try the free ram air (FRA), see www.installuniversity.com for more info on it.
As for the bellows, some people like it but many people also don't, I personally haven't tried it and after reading up on it I probably never will either.
