True duals over the axle

How are you guys getting this done? Every shop I have talked to said they wouldnt even try to make a system like that for me.

And are you using stainless or just steel? What type of bends?

I'm friendly with the guy who did it. He has a 02 ss and a 02 trans am. It is aluminized steel with crush bends.

One thing I've seen done with the fuel line issue is to insulate them with some high temp tape or wrapping. What usually will happen is there's no physical obstruction, but it's close enough to require an insulator. Some cars will need it others won't, varies by year and production...

Dr Gas has the hump over the axle already bent to clear the body panel there, wish they had something to fit 4th Gen also that should be a big ticket item:

My guy can bend stainless steel and has several mandrel bend machines in house. Usually where you find a mandrel bender you will find someone who has built several exhaust systems, although not easy rule of thumb but close.

With the right piping crush bent should flow just about the same though, and ss may be overkill.
