Question Pacesettersand Y pipe are in.

My Pacesetter LT Headers and custom Ypipe from TSP are here.
My friend is putting them on next week.
I saw on another post a few people having problems with this set up.
I am wondering if i should have order a another brand of Headers and Y PIPE.
I got a real good deal on this set up, but another friend told me you get what
you pay for.

Calling all those who know somthing about LT Headers. Come foward and give
me no opinons just facts.

I think you will find that your purchase was worth it. PC and the TSP Y are good products. Yes there are better headers, but you paid almost half the price for a decent header. I am glad I got mine and I think they were worth every dollar and some more.

I don't think he was talking about the jet hot y pipe fitting the headers.

I think he was responding to the person who started the thread.

And to Nocturnal SS, The Pacesetters are very nice. They fit very good and you got the right Y pipe for them aswell. It isn't "You get what you pay for" it's.. "You get what you are stupid enough to pay for."

The old y-pipe was bad with pacesetters. The new one is much better.

I just installed my Pacesetters and they went in like butter. I just had to remove the heat shields on both sides to make it easier. The passenger's definitely needed removing, but I probably could have gotten by without removing the driver's.

They went in easier than taking the stock manifolds out. No cutting, no prying on the engine, and no disconnecting the steering knuckle.

Correction guys...I did get some bangind today while I floored it in a about 10 to 15 degree turn. I heard them bang like 3 or 4 times.

But, the good news is that they've only banged on those turning WOT runs.

I have to ask you, when did you order these? Mine were ordered on the 16th and apparently UPS damaged them and before they ever got here they went back to TPS and than I was told they were out of stock of the headers but had the TSP Y-pipe in stock but that he may be able to ship the headers direct from pacesetter that day (this was last week).I have sent 3 emails to Trevor since and have not heard back....

Yes, I did reinstall them both. The passenger one looked like it might bang the header, so I put some of that aluminum tape insulation that you wrap around hot water pipes on it to cushion the blow. So far it must be working because it hasn't made a peep.

KB99WS6 - Not sure who your question was directed to, but I ordered my Pacesetters and TSP y on the 3rd. The headers were drop-shipped from Pacesetter and got here fairly quickly. Maybe about a week? At the time I ordered the y, they still hadn't finished them so it took about 2.5 weeks to get that. I know I was in the first batch that went out. I also tried emailing Trevor, but found that calling them was much quicker. I'd still be waiting for responses if I hadn't called.
