Default Part # for TB Blade??

Anyone got a part # or the part name, so I can order it. I did a search for "Throttle Body Blade" on SDCD's website but nothing came up.

Thanks.

I may be able to help you out. What are you looking for exactly? What's wrong with your factory blade?

GM doesn't sell the blade seperate, but I have about 50 replacement blades available if you still need one.

I need a new one because I had to drill the **** out of mine before my last tune (Like 7/16's I think). I just needed the car to idle well enough to be able to drive it to the dyno.

Im about to get a new full dyno tune for N2O and a new stall( and because I have been having issues with the old one), but I want to start with a fresh Blade, new plugs, New O2's, etc., for tuning purposes.

How much you guys want for one?

Thanks.

Shoot me your address, and I'll send you one. It'd cost me $ .73 in stamps...don't worry about it.

Well Travis, I have 4- '97-04 Vette/6.0 truck blades (no idle hole), 6- F-body's (one idle hole), and two 96-98 5.0/5.7 Vortech blades (3 holes with the factory air restrictor removed). All will fit all 75mm units from '97-04 as the Vette blade can easily be drilled. I'd like to keep a couple in the cabinet for fella's in situations like Revelation222. I can pass on 9 to you though. Two will have 3 idle holes-good for cam-only customers. Just shoot me your address again, and I'll get them out to you.

Making yourself a chair or something?

I made a pretty nice looking garage door out of the hundreds of brass JDM and ford blades collected. With a little white rouge and a day or so with a polishing wheel, it turned out to be quite an attraction...

I thought they would.

Just to add to that though, now that you mention the term 'knife-edging' and people may have already read it...That is a no no...Not only does it do next to nothing for performance, but that removes the already slim .062" seal of the unit which could cause a higher idle N/A, and a guaranteed problem with FI. The blade may also stick itself to the wall of the unit if slammed closed as it often tends to be the case with stop and go city driving. Just something to think about before proceeding...

Ahh. Well then I guess I'll just leave them alone lol. I knife-edged the blade on my car w/o any negative results, b/c I don't take away all of the flat surface on the edge which creates the seal. I just smooth off the edge a little. I'm vary wary of messing with parts that could screw up the idle, hence why I want a few backups plates
