Default To those with cam only setups...

I was wondering what headers you are all running....would it be worth it to change to a stepped 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 header like the kooks or edelbrocks, or stick with a 1-3/4? Thanks

BTW...this is through a 3in magnaflow catback

I switched from paceshitters to edelbrocks and the car woke up. I dont think it was the stepped primaries as much as it was the merge collectors...

I had mine powder coated with high temp black matte powder locally for 125$ and they look killer. Clean off perfectly with a wet paper towel

I am running good old Pacesetters with my woosey cam. I noticed a little power gain over the MAC's. I dont think stepped headers are needed until you get into H/C or FI.

stepped headers also do wonders for nitrous. all that exhaust you need to move can become a hassle.

I don't think Nitrous really makes more exhaust like heads and FI would.

Burning fuel AND n20 @ the same creates more exhaust. I'd recommend the stepped route for n20 shots, or big H/C setups.

yea, at first everyone said the 90mm fast intakes and 1-7/8 headers were too big for stock cubed motors, now everyone is in a hurry to get that stuff, but I dont see a point in it unless your spraying, running FI or spinning over 6500.
