Do I have to have O2 sims????? I want to get my off road x-pipe installed tommorrow but forgot to get O2 sims for the install. Can I get it installed and just plug my O2 sensors back into the bungs on the offroad pipe?
I have to drive the car about 100 miles on Saturday for a cam and pulley swap and then will drive it about 15 miles on Monday to get it tuned.
Will the car be okay without the O2 sims? Can my tuner peform LS1 edit to deactivate the O2 sensors?

Removing the rear O2's won't cause any problems. They're only there to let the PCM know that the cats are functioning properly.

Actually i think the pcm will pull back timing to make up for what its reading. For example alot of people hollow out thier cats for performance. Since they don't get 02 sims they don't get the full effect of the gain cause the pcm is compensating for what the sensor is reading. Its not much of a gain but i think u get my point. Its not going to hurt ur car enough for u to notice it in the performance.
screw your O2 sensors into the bungs and go. your ses light will come on, and my camaro got horrible gas mileage while the sims were out. BTW, my ses light went off by itself when I put the sims in.
