Help with smoking at idle only problem, after LT install
Help with smoking at idle only problem, after LT install Had Pacesetters, ory, and new plugs installed. I also got a tune done by a very good tuner. My problem is that my car smokes badly and smells of un burnt fuel at Idle and when initially accelerating regardless of whether the car is warm or cold. It does not appear to smoke at normal driving though. The fella that tuned me put another tune in for me this weekend and it still does the same thing. Although, the car runs very good and I have no drivability problems at all. The smell can be overwhelming and it is pretty embarassing. We changed my o2's this weekend and that did not fix the problem. When I had the tuner reload my tune this weekend we noticed that my o2's were moving up and down very slowly and my car was smoking when it was at idle. But as soon as we would give it gas my o2's started moving up and down quickly like the should and the car was not smoking. It appeared that my o2's were not heating up like the should at idle. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there different 02's that will heat up quicker? Anyone else have this problem or more importantly has anyone fixed this problem?
