Searched already ... mac vs pacesetter With my mild cam and sig stuff, have decided on a Yank SS3600 for a converter ... lots of info found searching on headers/Y-pipes but still not what I'm looking for for answers. Between MAC mid-lengths and Pacetter LT's ONLY, which is best B-F-Buck?
Are the installion issues with either product any different on a 1999 Trans Am than they would be on, say, a 1999 Z28 Camaro, i.e., steering linkage adjustment (clearance), front O2 SIMMS (again ... clearance)?
I have searched a LOT and it seems people are varying in opinion, but, I'm beginning to see a trend that different F-body cars have clearance issues (speaking steering linkage/O2 Sim's clearance ... not ground clearance) which other F-body's don't have (even the same year models). Could it be the manufacturer is putting out headers with inconsistent measurements?

Infact, Z28Venom had pics of the clearance with Pacesetter headers and True duals, he was also lowered. It looked like he had pretty good clearance.
