Dual cutouts with Bolra type adjustable plates?
Dual cutouts with Bolra type adjustable plates? I've got two Flowtech cutouts that I'm going to get welded into my y-pipe like the QTP y-pipe.
I was thinking of fabing up some other blockoff plates with different sized holes drilled in them to let more sound out like on the Borla adjustable catback. My Hooker catback is pretty quite and I thought I might drill a 1/2-2" hole in some spare plates just to see what the noise difference would be. Of course at the track I'll be removing the plate fully, but just for around town open all the way is too loud.
Just wondering if anyone's done something like this?

Yeah I got a single electric cutout with SLP LT Headers and an ORY, but I have the plate closed because it would have a lot of rasp then... It's extremely loud but it will grow on you... It sounds a lot better with it open then closed!!!
I am actually gonna sell the LT's and ORY because of my new Twin Turbo I am having installed on my 2000 TA, WS6 A4.... Which I am sure will be loud as well, but will have a totally different sound.
