Misfire
Misfire Alright, so i installed the lT's with no cats, so no rear O2s, and then i took off the EGR./AIR. MISFIRES! scanned it tonight, 15 codes!. o2s not functional, AIR seloniod not reading, High voltage O2 reading, multiple cylinder misfire. I checked the plugs, gapped at 50. I am putting in NGK TR6 tommarow at .035 for the soon to be finished NOS. IS the emmisions system shock causing the computer to misfire? any ideas. thanks, tom
Without tuning of course EGR/AIR and rear 02's would set codes, they are no longer there! As far as the misfires check the obvious first, plug wire connections at coils and plugs. but without edit/tuners get used to the SES being on all the time.
