Default Dual Cutouts Question

I'm planning on putting dual cutouts on the y-pipe right after the collectors. Are there any problems with this such as buring up the O2 sensors or changing the A/F ration? Should i just move them back to right before the y-pipe mergers together to the "i" part?

Some of them tend to leak... You'll need to let your computer adjust to benefit from it. And - Never do them if you have duals with an X - in front of the X that is... Otherwise - they're very cool.

I have them also. In order to keep your O2's as safe as possible, put an extension on the cutout. Look in my sig for pics of what I did. Or, if you don't want extensions, then place them so the open air is about 16" or more from the O2's. And as stated, a tune will be needed if you plan to gain from the open cutouts. My car runs pig rich with them open and has less low end torque and about the same top end as if it was going through the cat-back. I plan to get a dyno tune shortly.

Place the cutouts about 12" back. You can copy our dual cutout y pipe. No issues with a/f or 02 sensors.
