It looks great. Do you have any pictures of where you hung the hangers and stuff? That's the only thing I'm not sure about before I do my duals.

That setup looks pretty good. I've seen another 3" setup on this board, and it had maybe an inch or 2 more ground clearance (they had a soda can too and the very bottom of the bullet was even with the tip top of the can). You may try tucking the system up in the DS tunnels a little more if you can. Might need longer hangers back there though to do that. Did you have to do any cutting to get that universal kit to fit your Pacesetters? I know with the LT1's you have to with the Pacesetters.

Could you build one to go over the rear end and out the rear? Or under, I've heard of people going under the axle to go out the rear.

Looks very good, I'd rock it!

Thanks

ok, here are some pics as requested of the hangers and where they are

i marked where i wanted the hangers and drilled through the car from the botto, then I stuck a bolt through the hole so it would push against the carpet to give me a reference point to cut an x in the carpet with a utilty knife

i took the bottom back seats out and put a bolt with a washer through it and then used a washer with a locknut on the underside of the car

Thanks so much. I really appreciate the pictures. This will help me a lot when I do this in the spring.

One other question.... why did you use the plain universal hangers with the clamps instead of going with a hanger and rubber isolator?

I dont know really. If you are talking about the kinds with the TSP system then I really didnt know where to get them and welding under my back seat would require scraping the metal to get the weld started and also I didnt want to take a chance on getting the padding under the carpet hot enough to start a fire. I ddint feel like pulling the carpet out at this point either cuz I was ready to get it over with. These hangers are rubber isolated also.

I was thinking like the TSP setup. I've been searching through some Walker exhaust books to find the right hangers. It looks like the Mustang hanger that attaches to the floor is the best way to go. I found some rubber isolators from a Buick that will work. I just need to get some of that round stock for the hanger that welds to the pipe.
