lsx 90mm intake manifold too much?

lsx 90mm intake manifold too much? ok i have a stock c.i. motor with heads/cam and the bolt on and nitrous. the guy that does all the work to my car says that he doesnt recommend the lsx 90mm intake on a stock cube car cuz it will end up losing more than gaining and it wont be worth the money. I have started to not trust him as much lately and was thinking about going to someone else. Can anyone answer the question if it would be worth going with the intake?

On a stock motor it seems you would lose a lot of low & mid rpm throttle response. The airflow demands of a stock engine aren't great enough to make the 90mm worthwhile.

On a heads/cam, stock ci setup, a FAST 90/90 would be a great modification, and would net a decent improvement over an ls6 intake.
