i see it says to measure how far its gone in? can you just put the pulley on and tighten to 240 ftlbs back it out and then re tighten to 37 ft lbs and then do the 140* turn after that?
should this all be done wiht the new bolt or not until the 37 ftlb part? thanks

put your pulley in the oven untill its so hot you have to use oven mitts, it should slide right on. if it doesnt, you're no worse off than when you started. make sure the inside of the pulley and the outside of the crank is nice and clean first

iff 200 degrees works, 400 should work twice as good
i heated the axle bearing carrier from my 4 wheeler to about 500 degrees (forgot it was in the oven) and the bearings went in the freezer. they would go in so easily, that i couldnt get one side to stay in so i could put the other side in lol. one kept falling out while i put the other in.

so just put it in the oven at about 200 deg and then put some oil on the end and it should slide on? and then torque it in with the old bolt and then properly torque with new one?

Yes on your other stuff, although I would call the vendor you bought it from to ask about heating the liquid. Or maybe someone else will pop in with an opinion on the fluid. I don't plan on heating mine up next spring when it goes on.
