borla CB, kooks headers/ory sound clips???
borla CB, kooks headers/ory sound clips??? Ok, i searched and all I could find is a sound clip of kooks with catted y and borla catback. It sounded pretty raspy and I was wondering if anyone has it without the cats?? Couldnt imagine it getting any more raspy.

I wish I could describe it...when I rode in his car, the whole thing shook, and it was stock cammed. The resonance was just too much for a daily driver in my opinion, and got to the point where it was too much for his situation where it was a weekend only car. Cats would have been a welcomed addition, but with an open plate, that still would have sounded bad.

I have LT's, catted y, and borla with no plate in it and I don't think it sounds bad at all. I actually really like it, I guess its just a matter of opinion.
I wish I would have had the chance to hear more exhausts before choosing some of the ones I've had, but I've kinda had to learn the hard way by spending $$$.

Zero Rasp left. Ground clearance is not a problem, but to get the Borla to fit in place the tunnel had to be hammered in a bit similar to hump on the front passenger side, but not as much. Any shop with a rubber mallet should be able to do this without a problem. My local muffler shop welded the XR-1 onto the Pacesetter ORY and cut about 15 inches from the I-pipe of the Borla catback. The muffler measures 15 inches in length, 5 inches wide, and the inlet and outlet measure 3 inches.
