I've got a set of Pacesetters sitting in my basement waiting for the spring time. I went with painted simply because I don't care how they look, nor am I worried about the heat.

with the shitty ground clearance and shitty customer service. sounds like slp...

pa- yeah we get like 3 months of real bad winter, but the rest is not soo bad, just impossible to hook in. it is probably below 40* 4 months out of the year.

winter isn't soo bad though, it gives everybody a chance to talk **** about what they are doing to their car for next year or what they are getting etc..., when 99% of the people don't back their **** up the next spring..

me- gears, restall (not by choice but, well, don't ask), sfc's, new nitto's, and headers/tsp y/ q-tec.

i also plan on going with pacesetters, tsp y, and q-tec (i priced this out to around 850$) but keeping stock catback for the "sleeper" effect. everybody that knows my car will never know there was a change till i open the cutout

ok- tangent over..

Not yet we haven't! I've been able to drive my car every day so far.

I'm going to the auction with one of my dealer buddies in a week or so though cause I've got to get something else to drive. These below freezing temps don't mix well with drag radials.

winter here sucks but like stated above it gives everyone a chance to talk about what they are doing come spring. most people don't actually do anything but i take the oppurtunity to do everything i can afford at the time. btw DMNSPD what drag radials you run. i had my bfg's on in the summer but had a bad experience with them on a wet road.

You can get cermic coated flowtech LT's for 370 bucks.

BUT...I have had fitment issues as well as some others. The main one being they do not line up flush with the exhaust ports on the heads.

But what you can do is check and see if they are flush before you install them ( lay a straight edge on them)...because it is hit or miss...as some people have had no problem.

I measured mine before the install(thank god)...and sent them back and told the place I got them from to measure and make sure they were true.

Then everything was fine... have had them on for 6 months and the coating still looks great....no complaints.

I run Nitto's. They are better in the rain than the F1's were. I won't run BFG's because of an incident a friend of mine had in the rain.

i think mine were 379 and shipping from TSP. i also got 02 extensions and ordered the catted Y. the pacsetter and TSP catted Y is the best deal going, not to mention great customer service. i recieved the wrong headers the first time and called them to se what to do. they had another set in the brown truck the next business day, no problem at all. just can't wait till the y pipe gets in

pacesetters are coated only on the outside correct?

which if condensation builds up it could very well rust from the inside out?

i guess they could-but i have never heard of this happening. on my old car i had mild steel exhaust, no coating at all and no real rust issues. the bottum would look bad if the car was on a lift but it was mainly surface rust, and i had that for like 2 years. hell- in 2 years i'll probably want another car to start all over again, but that is just how i am.

oh- and while we are on the subject, i like my nitto's in the rain better than the stock shityears that came with the car. my nittos are worn bad now but if they have 1/2 tread or better they kick *** in the rain- compared to alot of tires, not just drag radials. i was confident with them on the highway and everything.

lol my bad. mods arent always right

i'd wager he got them from TSP as most people do. Jason, Trevor, or Joseph should be able to get you a good deal. or check the sponsor section to see if anybody is running a GP on them.

Haha it's cool man. I'm a mod on a couple other boards and I know how it goes.

Thanks for the information.
