my y-pipe is knocking got a JET-HOT ORY and on a hard launch it hits the floorboard when traction control is on, but not when its turned off. I also have a MUFFLEX support bracket that is supposed to prevent this but it doesnt. So i'm curious is this just a traction control thing or what? 
That makes sense to me. When traction control is on it is not a smooth cutback of power but rather abrupt causing the engine to move around alot. I am willing to bet you are running stock motor mounts. If so get'em off and get you some prothanes. It will tighten up the whole car and keep your exhaust from moving as much because the engine wont be moving as much.

thats another thing, mufflex said to put it on the driver side. it hits on the passenger side. i don't understand how it helps putting the bracket on the driver side
