Default Another Header Question

I just want to know what you guys think about the Slp long tubes. I currently have them and so far I am happy with them. However, I have several people telling me that there are much better headers out there. What do you think? If I was to change them, which headers would give me a gain over my current setup? I will keep the true dual setup that I have if that matters.

If you are happy with them I would keep them. Looks like you are making great power N/A without a cam. I went with qtp's, I think they install easier and are a better grade of stainless steel. I think the biggest complaints with slp have been fitment issues.

I would keep them, the only thing you might gain by changing would be a little ground clearence, but unless you are having problems I would leave them alone.

I think that I totally agree with those people. But if they are on the car already and you have no clearance issues (not lowered) then you may as well keep them...if not on the car yet I would definitely sell them and get QTPs.

Plain and simple: THERE ARE NOT MUCH BETTER HEADERS OUT THERE. SLP LT's are a good product. Take a close look at your LT's in 5 years and take a look at their's. You'll be happy you kept yours.

Well thats what I wanted to hear guys. I appreciate it. These headers were on the car when I bought it, and although the car is lowered a bit, and I rub on some speed bumbs, I think I will keep them. As I said before, I was just looking for some other opinions.

Thanks

I did the swap from SLP LT's to QTP's to gain some ground clearance. Since I was doing the swap I went ahead and got the HVMC's. No numbers yet, but I did feel a slight improvement down low in SOTP (going from an X-pipe back to a Y-pipe may have something to do with that also).
