Default AC condensor tube?

Before realizing I could drop the condensor on my cam swap I attempted to loosen the top hose that connects to it and heard alot of air escaping. I quickely tightened it back but know I am wondering do I need to pressurize the AC system or somthing.? Thanks

You can take it to a shop and they'll check the freon level for you. I would just run it. When summer comes and you turn on your a/c the compressor will click on & off if it doesn't have enough freon. I bet you didn't let enough out to be concerned. JMO.

So I guess the air was the freon. What about the defrosters.

It will be fine. Defroster uses the a/c compressor to dry the air coming into your dash.

if you want to get it checked out an AC guy can vacuum the system for you using one of the ports on the condensor. They will also refill it with freon, probably cost you between 50 -80 bucks depending on where you go. Just test it out first, if its working I would just live with it.
