Default QTP long tubes????

I hear mostly positive remarks about the quality and fitment of QTP longtubes. I have decided to pay extra and go for these. Is this a good choice. Has anyone ever had a real bad experience with these headers, or are they a great product?

Any info and opinions concerning these headers are welcome!

thanks in advance

If I were to do it all over again I would purchase Stainless Steel Works LTs. They use the highest quality steel, period. I have only read a couple of fitment issue threads concerning QTPs. Generally, guys who have them speak highly of them, but I wouldn't trade my SLP LT's for them. But... I don't have clearance issues like some guys, either. Good Luck.

QTP: Great product, great quality, great fit, great install (the LT's slide right in). Great all-around. Y-pipe is not so great in terms of install ease, but it should flow better than anything out there (save for the similar mufflex Y-pipe), due to its Flowmaster 4" Scavenger Collector.

I went from SLP LT's to QTP HVM LT's.

The answer is yes, they are great. I have them and would gladly pay extra for them again...possibly even more to get the high velocity collectors for future build up project.

YES.
NO.
YES.

Best LS1 long tube header available IMO, and I MUST disagree with some of the comments above about the Y pipe (but NOT the one about it being the best flowing, that IS true!), it does take some working it (it's multi piece design actually allows it to have a FAR better fit (and flow obviously) than other typical two piece Y pipes) to get it just right but once you do it is a PERFECT fit with the right amount of body AND ground clearances, I absolutely LOVE my QTP set up.
Get the QTP cut out too, it rocks.

You will not be disappointed. QTP headers are one of the only products on this board that I have not seen any negative feedback on. Some complain about the Ypipe, but work fine for me and my installer. He even commented on how good QTPs fit after the install. Combined with the GMMG exhaust they are bad a$$.

i got the QTPs.. i am really happy with them....
they are really good stuff...I had a set of other headers before and they rusted in a few months...
i went w/ the QTPs because they have a really good rep, they are stainless and dont rust, they have a true merge on the y pipe for more power , HVM(high velocity merges) options for the ultimate race header, the QTEC cutout a nice touch to finalize the setup...

i really like them.. can you tell???

i have had my QTP headers for about 6 months or so. they look even better now than the first day i got them.. they have a nice goldish tone to them..

My dad helped me with the install and we got it all done in a few hours. For my first time installing headers i gotta tell you.. it was easy and they went right in.

Mine fit perfect, which is more than I can say for any other header I have ever seen. My y-pipe fite very well too. I am sure it does not hang any lower than the factory one.

If I were to change anything, I think the placement of the left cat could be further forward so it is not so low.

Great product and service!!

I can't wait till spring to drive!!!
