Using 01-02 Headers on 00
Using 01-02 Headers on 00 I'm about to buy some 01-02 SLP LT's and I have a 2000. I know I am going to have to delete my EGR, but is there anything else I am going to have to do.

you might not want to buy slp lt's you will scrape them everywhere...they hang about 1-2" lower than other lt's not to mention their power gain is not anymore than others....actually a set of kooks dynoed like 15 rwhp more than those...

hmm...well that sounds like a deal...i've just heard how unhappy people are with them...you could get pacesetters/tsp catted y pipe for near that...and have no issues...they would install MUCH easier and the only downfall is they are not stainless

Air tubes are the same 00-02. Like you pointed out, you'll need to delete the EGR.. unless the headers have the egr tube on them. Which some 01-02 headers did. Not sure about the SLP's
Thanks for the info WILWAXU, I am looking forward to installing these and hoping to see some good HP gains. I dynoed my 2000 SS about a month ago and put down 316hp and 327tq with only a lid and catback. I am hoping to pick up 20hp with these and probably do a ls6 intake in a couple months.
