what headers are the best
Im deciding on what type of headers to get, i want them to last long, and not be a pain in the butt to put in either. I was thinking either pacesetters or hooker super competition. but whatever opinions yall have will really help in my decision with this.

The threads up top are stickies for a reason. They are also colored so you will be able to see them better.
It has been answered over and over... as well as 90% of the questions asked.
QTP/Kooks = Stainless Steel headers that flow well and are stainless (Last the longest) (Expensive)
Jet Hot/ Hooker / Pacesetter, etc = Flow well and can be coated to last longer (Inexpensive)
All headers free up around the same horsepower. So, if you are looking for quality then buy some Kooks or QTPs.

well... IMO QTPS are the best.. they are stainless, have a true merge collector on the Y pipe, Have a High Velocity merges on the header collectors as optional, have different Y pipe setups. and the electric cutouts..
i ran jethots before.. i switch over to QTPs after i couldnt take the rust from the jethots anymore

You are just paying for quality with Kook's or QTP's. No difference in power from Pacesetter/Hooker/JetHot to Kook's/QTP's, just difference in quality.
That being said, I've got coated Hooker LT's.

Also Check out the New edlebrocks. On their Victor series they Offer a true merge collector and Step design. You can also get them Coated, but they don't offer the Merge collector. As far as install goes, Everyone hs had really good luck so far. No problems yet. They also have the new Ti-Tech coating and I'll just have to let everyone know how well it lasts. I'd say these are mid-level headers.
