Default Installed QTP/TSP duals! tune??

whats up guys,

Ive had them on for a week or so.

WOW the sound is awesome and LOUD
i think i will have brain damage by the end of this year!!! i love it lol

i am a little shaken that the car doesnt feel as strong as it did before i installed the headers.
i went through a few heat cycles and now the car smells like its burning some oil .

i heard most cars run rich after LT installs, might i be running lean?

i wont be able to get a tune for at least another month.
do you guys think its ok to drive untuned for 1000 miles or so?

before duals/headers, i had SLP LM and TSP lid.
2002 M6

thanks in advance

every car reacts different to mods.. i didnt tune my car when i had headers and bolt ons and ran just fine... if you think your tuning might be off try to autotap the car if you can... if not take it easy on it.. dont push it til it gets tuned

The smell is probably just the smell of new exhaust.

running rich means you're putting excess fuel in, which that smell could be a result of, if you get your a/f ratio just right you'll probly get rid of it, which would be part of the tune, also it will increase your power, and you're probly showing a SES light since you got rid of O2's and cats n' all that, so you should probly get a tune anyways.

I've heard many different stories. I installed QTP's, TSP TD's, TR224-112 cam, MTI Lid & descreened MAF all at the same time. Hooked up a wideband to it and it runs perfect AF ratios for 1k miles now. So the only tuning I did was black tape over the SES.
