Should I get stainless headers coated?

Hey guys, Modfest 2K5 is upon me and I'm in the process of gathering parts. One of the things I'm doing is changing out my Hooker LT's to a set of stainless headers, either QTP's, or Stainlessworks. I was wondering if it would be worth it to have them coated before I install them, or is that un necessary? I'm not worried about them rusting or corroding, but at the same time I know stainless steel turns goofy shades of brown after it heat cycles a few times. Is there any way to clean them? My engine bay is spotless now (except for some flaking jet hot coated hookers).

No, I wouldn't waste the money or time to coat them and they actually look kinda cool (and blend in a little better which is good for emissions inspections) after they 'turn' a little bit.
