AIR question Most everyone says that removing the AIR pump will give an SES light.
I thought that the only time the pump is actually on is for the first 2-3 minutes after the engine is started. The engine is running in the open-loop mode when cold isn't it. I wouldn't think that in the open-loop mode a code would be set.
I was thinking of just removing the tubes that go to the exhaust manifolds and let the AIR pump keep running. What do you think? Will this still turn on the SES light?
