People don't like them because unlike the name would imply, they don't "flow" very well. As for the tips, check out all the sponsors and I'm sure you'll be able to find them.

I have the flowmaster cat back and the only thing I like about it is the stainless steel tips it came with. It doesn't fit well and its too quite. If I had the choice again I would choose the SLP loudmouth.

I love Flowmaster mufflers. Just not the 80 Series muffler. The crossflow design sucks. If you were to get a different series like say, a 40 series, it would sound awesome.

In my opinion flowmaster has the best sound but thats just me. I don;t care if they don't flow cause a cut out will take care of that problem

Yeah flowmaster does sound pritty good! But, come on really, how much power would it be taking away with a 40 series, not much at all. If you are worried about 2-4 hp, give me a brake. I would rather have a great sounding exhaust and lose 2-4hp, than have a shitty raspy exhaust that flows a little better. That is just my opinion though!!!

I love the sound of it, They don't flow very well but I did run 13.1 @ 106 stock with K&N/flowmaster. I have a cutout now for flow and have left it uncapped ever since I got it. lol.

I just put LTs and an ory and my Flowmaster Sounds like crap. Its raspy like a glasspack between 2000 and 2500 rpm during normal driving. Is my flowmaster worn out?

Might be your ORY causing the rasp. I have LTs with catted-Y and the Flowmaster cat-back, and it sounds freakin awesome. Not raspy at all.
