ls6 intake install on a 99
I got the intake, but I know I need the coolant crossover pipe and two coolant plugs. Anything else?
Also, I'm thinking of doing the LS6 PCV conversion. Is it worth the effort if I already got a oil catch can?
What else should I do while I'm doing that? I know I will need EGR blockoff plates for the intake. Should I go with complete AIR/EGR removal, even if I still have stock headers? AIR pump is already removed physically and from the PCM.
thanks,
Marcin

I'm gonna be getting an LS6 intake as well for my 96... do you NEED the EGR blockoff plates? For instance, I'm buying an LS6 intake from TSP, therefore what else do I need to buy other than just the intake? Hopefully this can help RedHard as well.

Then you could buy a front coolant pipe from a 2001+ camaro/firebird and block off pieces for the back.
Sponsers sell them --> (ex. TSP)

Hint: due to the non availability of those rear bypass tubes, you can do what I did. I used a dremel and removed most of that criss crossed plastic on the bottom of the intake where the factory coolant lines run. I've had no problems with mine. Got that hint from Trevor himself. My headers had no egr provisions anyway.
